As an Orientation and Mobility (O&M) specialist at Shore O&M, I bring over a decade of experience as an adapted physical education teacher, where I focused on accommodating for students with a wide variety of disabilities. I was privlaged to support organizations such as Camp Abilities and NOAH (National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentaiton) in various roles for over 7 years.
In 2020, I earned my Master's degree in Orientation and Mobility from Salus University, specializing in enhancing the mobility and independence of individuals with visual impairments. At Shore O&M, I apply this expertise to empower clients through personalized instruction in cane techniques, spatial awareness, and safe navigation strategies. My goal is to foster autonomy and ensure individuals with visual impairments navigate their environments confidently and independently.
